EQ Spring Newsletter

Despite a very wet Winter, we are finally seeing glimpses of Spring at EQ. The daffodils are coming out, the days are getting longer and the birds are chirping away in the trees.

It has been a difficult few months for many, not everyone has been able to get their horses out and some venues have had to cancel shows or training due to the weather. Several venues and properties have also been damaged by wind or flooding. Our thoughts are with all our clients hanging on in there for warmer, drier weather and getting on with the season’s competing ahead!

On the mention of a new season, many people are on the search for their next truck to go out competing in. We have a great selection of new and used horseboxes for sale to suit all budgets from 7.5t – 26t. These can all be viewed on our new look website, so do please have a look on www.equinequality.com

If you are getting your horsebox out for the first time after a period of time out, please do give it a good inspection first to make sure it is fit for purpose. Check the ramp and the floor before you load any horses onto it. Refill the water tanks, if you drained them and check they are not leaking. Check the type pressure and treads, as well as your brakes, before you put any horses in. Run the truck stationary for 10 minutes before moving off. Give the truck a thorough clean – this will help you identify any areas requiring maintenance. We can help with valeting and maintenance checks – please do get in touch for a quote.

Over the winter, as well as building our new website, we have developed a line of quality equestrian apparel for both on the yard and away at a show. We have everything from Director’s chairs to hoodies and stable drapes. All products are high quality and feature EQ branding. These have been made available to our brand ambassadors and will soon be available for purchase on our website. Contact us today to register your interest.

In regards to horseboxes, we have just completed an 18t build which has been finished externally in beautiful Nautical Blue. This 5 large stall, 6 berth truck features a large pop out, full width underfloor storage, slimline tack lockers and the exceptional EQ attention to detail and long list of features which come as standard. Hopefully this truck doesn’t sell too quickly, so we get a chance to show it off first!

Other builds include a 12t 5 stall work truck with smaller living and a new super high spec 6 stall demonstration truck on a 26t chassis. Have you considered having a horsebox built to your specification but not sure where to start? Contact us today for a chat – we can help with your ideas, listen to your requirements and discuss affordability and payment plans. We can help source a suitable chassis and book a build slot to suit your plans and time frame.

On a personal note, EQ Director, Candice, has enjoyed several shows with her own horses at Addington Equestrian over the winter. She praises the facilities and the organisation and is pleased with how her horses are progressing. Candice plans to continue jumping competitively across the summer at shows such as Hickstead, Arena UK and maybe even abroad!

We will be attending several shows and events this year, exhibiting our high quality, practical and luxurious horseboxes across the country. Details of each will be released nearer the time, so do look out for us. If you see us at a show, you are welcome to pop in to say hello and have a look around. Our viewings are always very informal – we like to show our horseboxes off!

Wishing all our clients, contacts and friends a very pleasant spring and here’s to some warmer and drier days in the saddle over the summer!

The EQ Team.
